Polar Bear

Its been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I would put up a character design of a polar bear. I've found the BBC documentary 'frozen planet' really inspirational so I've been doing a lot of Artic themed sketches recently. Been really busy with work and a course in web design but hopefully I will have more designs and animations to come soon!

Horse Jump Motion Reference

The next big challenge for my show-reel is to tackle the quadrupeds. My girlfriend Harriet is currently riding a horse called Jonno who has competed at a high level so I thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to capture some motion reference for my animation. As I'm not animating the rider we took him into the school and lunged him (I think that's what its called!?). This should hopefully give me a better feeling for the horse's individual weight. Will post the finished product soon. If you'd like a copy of the reference please email me!

Just a quick poster design using a vintage vector style. Its for a campaign called "Designed to Smile" Which is aimed at kids and parents to encourage dental hygeiene.

Here is the first draught of the homepage for NoodleHawk Studios.

Its a collaborative project I'm doing with Tom Barnes who is currently putting the website together.

We decided to create a website to showcase our work when applying for freelance jobs.
